The Agency has taken measures for ships flying its flag and ships calling at her ports to ensure safety at sea at all times, such measures are to ensure that vessels are surveyed by qualified surveyors with a view to ensure the vessels have onboard Navigational Equipment and Instruments, Charts, Nautical Publications as are appropriate for safe navigation of the Ships.

Furthermore, the Agency also ensures aids to navigation are adequately provided and maintained to enhance the safe and efficient navigation of Ships.
